I am Lisa, and as my blog title suggests, I love running, eating a healthy diet and sometimes baking.

I am a married mother of two and I work full time. My health is very important to me, plus I am married to Pete Luxford, a personal trainer, so I really have no excuses not to be as fit and healthy as I can possibly be.

For the last 6 months, I have found that the Primal way of eating works best for me and so I try to stick that as best as I can. This means that the baking part of this blog as not been as prolific of late, but I am always searching for Paleo / Primal ways to bake. I still love making cakes for others as gifts and at special occasions. Baking still makes me smile, so my blog will remain EatBakeRun.

I have now completed three Marathons, two of them walking, both of them Moonwalks and one of them was the VLM 2012 with Pete, which we ran most of. I now run much shorter distances, I have an overall goal this year of running 750 miles, which is an average of just 2 miles per day. I will also be supporting Pete in training for a 55 mile Ultra this year.

I also blog a little on keeping a healthy state of mind, so I hope you find the blog positive, upbeat and helpful.
